Before we arrive
- Clear a path to each window and remove blinds, curtains, and valuances
- Move furniture a few feet back from each opening
- Take down wall hangings near the windows to protect them from vibration
- Plan for pets and small children to be away from the work areas
When the crew arrives
We protect floors and surrounding surfaces, review the plan with you, and confirm any details. A clean, protected work area is the first sign of a disciplined crew — and the standard we hold.
The installation
Working opening by opening, we remove the old unit, inspect and prep the opening, set the new window level and square, and insulate and seal it to the manufacturer's specification. We typically complete the old window's removal and the new one's installation before moving on, so your home is never left wide open.
How long it takes
A standard window runs roughly 30 to 60 minutes once prep is done; a whole-home project may span a day or more depending on count and complexity. We will give you a realistic timeline up front and keep you posted as the day goes.
The walkthrough
Before we leave, we clean the work areas, haul away the old windows and debris, and walk every opening with you — checking operation, locks, and finish. Nothing is "done" until you have seen it and agree.
